Made in Japan, its ideal for draining small amounts of pasta, boiled/blanched veggies and any other application where you need to drain foods out of liquid. Simply scoop and tilt the ladle back to allow liquid to drain through the slots. Plus, its compact enough to be used for tableside serving.
