Technical Note: As this cable is not TC-ER rated, it is designed for installation in cable trays, conduits, or raceways. It generally cannot be run as an unsupported cable between a tray and equipment for distances exceeding 6 feet.

To ensure the shield functions effectively, terminate the tinned copper drain wire to a clean ground at the source end only; terminating at both ends can create a ground loop that introduces more interference than it eliminates.
